EDC 2011

This past weekend I attended the annual rave, "Electric Daisy Carnival" in Las Vegas, Nevada with a special bunch of people.
I haven't been to a rave in a long while and a massive one at that so I was a bit excited/nervous but I was assured I'd have a good time...which I did :]
Only downside was I lost my sunglasses after the bumper cars!!! -________-
But the highlights were everything else ^___^
I shall express my emotions through a few flicks I captured on this adventure. I didn't take too many because quite frankly...I was too lazy :P

Who knew fire could be so cooooooool!

Wrist Injury: The Return.

Fuuuuck.
I guess I got too excited and started doing moves I shouldn't have been doing yet..

Back to recovering -____-

"Oh the sweet sting of a hardwood canvas...how I've missed you."

Were my first thoughts when I finally got to get down and session.
It's been about one long hard month since I've last practiced...mainly due to my injured wrist and no practice spot. I've been pretty lazy since I haven't been dancing or exercising as much as I wanted to during that hiatus.
The itch to dance has been growing bigger and bigger within myself.
It felt great to finally have a real full on practice with the crew and homies.
My wrist is still injured but it has somewhat healed so I can apply some pressure onto it. I still have to be very cautious on how I approach certain moves; specifically power, airchairs, any right handed poses, and so forth but it is an improvement from a month ago.
It's nowhere near perfectly healed but I'm happy I'm still able to pursue certain moves as well as experiment new ways of using my body.

I'm looking forward to this summer and hope to get back into practicing and improving more consistently.
