"School House Rock'N"

Aw man...what another long day.
This week has been pretty eventful...which is good but also drains my energy out!!
Woke up at 9 today and headed off to work in LA.
Got to work at 10 and helped teach and what not.
I left work early and got home around 1. Just chilled, didn't feel like doing anything even though I should have been doing my homework -_- D'OH!
At about 3, I drive to meet up with Matt Tran and his posse along with Nes at TapSex.
Meet up, greet each other, all that good stuff and make our way to Cal State LA for the jimmy jam.
As always I do not know what to expect from jams...some times you win and some times you lose. My mentality is just about doing your best.
Our first round we(Me, Matt, and Nes) went up against "Rhythm Invades Mexico" I believe. I've seen these guys from previous jams and they are some dope b-boys. But I don't give a fuuuuck, don't let that shit phase me.
It was a dope and fun battle. In my honest opinion I thought it was close, judges gave it the Mexicans 2/3. *Shrug* I'm not mad that we lost because we did good anyhow. I've come to a realization that whoever I battle the first round...ends up in the finals or winning the jam. So if you want to win a jam...you have to battle us first round...I'm a good luck charm lol.
The rest of the jam was coo. I wasn't really paying attention to be honest but the battles I saw looked good.
I'm pretty sure the footage will be posted up soon...or not...would you want to watch it?
No? Okay.
Anyway...all in all I should have just hung out with my girlfriend today...lol

Stay humble.

^^^ Better angle.
Look what we got here brothers...MEXICANS!!! lol jk
Our battle against "Rhythm Invades Mexico". Props to these guys, Mexico's pullin' out some crazy moves. Much love to my team for holding it down. Good battle.

Level 3

So Level 3's "Stomp the Yard" finally happened tonight. It is now 3:29 am and I cannot sleep...YET! But I'm dead tired. I had a pretty long day, went to school, had a meeting with my History group, then went to work, and then went to Level 3.
I honestly did not know what to expect from this event. It wasn't a jam..my sister's music group throws club events and this one just so happened to be a dance event. They knew I was involved in the B-boy scene so they asked me and my crew if we were to down to enter..and yeah sounded fun.
Overall the turnout was coo, the club was a lot emptier than it usually was but what can you expect, people got work, school, etc. I'm sure during the weekend it's much more crowded. And who wants to see a bunch of breakdancers anyway?! haha
There were originally supposed to be 6 crews battling...but only 3 including us showed up. Rumor has it some of the other crews didn't have their ID's or something...*shrug* We battled Vanguards for the trophy and cash prize. The battle was shorter than I expected...it was only...5 minutes...I only went out like...twice buuuut s'all good.
We ended up winning.. 0_0 something I'm not used to... >.< but yeah
I had fun just messing around with my friends and cyphering.
Thanks for Gary, Mike, Nes, and Barry for coming through and for everyone that supported us. Props to Vanguards and props to Ethiks and my cousin Angie for letting us in for free and taking care of us.

This Saturday = School House Rock'n..hope to see y'all there.

Some pics..

Waiting in the waiting room...haha I need a haircut.

ZH Team

GARY! GARY! GARY! GARY!

YONGY! YONGY! YONGY!

Is he saying pow?

BATTLE! BATTLE!

-EDIT-
I had no internet for one whole day and as a result I pieced together a few clips of my crew to a create a short video about us.
Please be aware, this is not a trailer nor a demo...
This is simply us...expressing ourselves through the art of B-boyin' and life.

I will most likely take it down some time later so enjoy it.
The song is Explosions in the Sky - First Breath After Coma

Peace.

Battlefield 2 + Level 3 - Oct. 9, 2008

Battle Zone!!! ... I mean *Field*... 2!!!!
A lot of my compadres are complaining about how lame this jam was...and I'm not going to agree or disagree with them but yes the jam definitely had it's flaws.
First off, the timing...a lot the events and the flow of the jam was very...slow. Everything lagged..the jam was supposed to be from 12 - 8 pm. I arrived at about 2:30 because I had work and the event didn't take off until about...4ish to 5. The jam had 3 events: Popping battles, Heavy Weight Battles(fat people), and a 3 on 3 Breakin' Battle.
I have no idea why things went by so slowly...probably because Psycho(the event thrower) was waiting for more people to come through. But still...when the battles started, I didn't even feel like dancing or battling anymore.
All that waiting was for nothing anyway since Gary, Jon and I battled Unique Styles/Vicious Germs first round. Talk about bad luck -_-
But anyhoo, the pro's of the event were that I got in for free! and the exhibition battle...man oh man was that battle crazy. Vicious Germs vs. Underground Flow..fuckin' nasty ass battle. Everyone thought Vicious Germs had the upper hand but Underground Flow came through, especially Philthy...guy's nasty. Gooood battle, made the whole wait worth it.
Then after the exhibition battle, I left hahaha.
The jam had a lot of potential but lacked in certain areas. Oh well, I'm sure Psycho's next jam will be dope, just gotta stick to the schedule but then again what do I know..I've never thrown a jam yet so I'm sure it's harder than it really looks...fuckin' bitches.

P.S.
This Thursday at Level 3 in Hollywood, my crew and I will be battling so come through and support. Have fun and freak a leak you slutty mcslut sluts!! Jk

BAM!
